-Learn dropout prevention techniques!
-Identify career goals with your youth!
-Learn what challenges our youth experience daily and how to overcome them!
-Learn how and what influence media advertising has on our youth's self-image and ways to change it for the better!
-Build a support network for youth!
This 4-hour workshop intensive, designed for youth/young adults (ages 13-25) & their role models (parent/guardian, mentor, older family member), that combines the African American experience with media education and leadership development activities, as professional development tools. Upon completion, youth share their manifestos on video: a statement of their vision for their community and the role they commit to playing in achieving that vision.

Diversity Leaders Boot Camp is designed to: introduce creative ways to enhance youth/adult communication, build healthy youth images, explore life goals, and develop a support network for leadership in the Digital Age. Also, come prepared to collaborate, produce media and have fun in a supportive and creative space!

1. This workshop is designed for YOUTH (AGES 13-35) AND THEIR PARENT/GUARDIAN, MENTOR, OR OLDER FAMILY MEMBER).
