Please join us for this one-day faculty development workshop on Diversity and Inclusion. We will explore Carolinas HealthCare System strategies on diversity and inclusion and learn how we can incorporate these topics into our CCHS programs to benefit students and teammates.


Topics: Cultural Competence, Unconscious Bias, Inclusive Leadership

Time: 9:00 am-12:00 pm; 1:00 pm-4:00 pm (lunch provided)

Objectives

  • Identify the Carolinas HealthCare System Diversity & Inclusion Agenda and strategic framework for leading our diverse workforce.
  • Explore personal journey of enhancing cultural competence skill-set.
  • Increase self- awareness and self-management of personal biases.
  • Enhance the ability to recognize barriers to inclusion in the workplace.
  • Explore strategies for integrating cultural competence into CCHS education practices.


Continuing Education Credits pending (0.6 CEUs equivalent to 6.0 Contact Hours)
