Join us with Guild member Kevin Baculi for a conversation about diversity within the design community.

About this Event

Kevin Baculi [ba coo lee] has been a member of the Graphic Artists Guild for several years, a vital part of the West Region team and various Guild committees. The West Region felt especially with the continuing enmity towards Asian-Americans we wanted to have the conversation of diversity designers the community might run into. There a short Q and A towards the end of the hour.

What Kevin will be covering on April 20th Diversity event:

• Introduction to Diversity

• Importance of Diversity

• The Benefits of Diversity in the workplace

• Introduction to Asian Pacific-Islander Heritage Month (May)

• Introduction to some notable Asian graphic artists

• Addressing Anti-Asian Discrimination in the US

• Solutions and Action Items to mitigate Asian Discrimination

This evening is a chance to learn all can to be respectful, responsible, and unified, towards understanding all ethnic heritages. Open to all Member and Non-members.
