This workshop will focus on how growing diversity is impacting the Social Work profession. The presenter will provide an overview of how diversity issues impact the Supervisor and Supervisee relationship. The presenter will also review strategies to address diversity in Supervision as well as providing case examples.
Workshop Learning Objectives:
• Discuss how diversity issues impact the supervisor and supervisee relationship.
• What does the research say about diversity in Supervision.
• Strategies to address diversity in Supervision
• Discuss case example of diversity in supervision.
• How to discuss culturally sensitive self-care with supervisees.
