Description
Come hack into topics that have been impacting our workplaces, employees, and daily lives! This event will bring the community members (teachers, techies of all levels, executives, etc.) of Los Angeles who have a passion and commitment for diversity, equity, and inclusion together and discuss and hack into difficult topics in a respectful and safe setting.
The purpose of this event is to discuss difficult topics and hack into solutions to help give companies an intro into thinking through DEI Strategies in a respectful and safe setting. The topics will be as follows (all topics will include intersectional identities, ex: race, age, sex, gender identity, etc.):

The event will be held January 15, 2020 from 6pm-8:30pm at Grid 110. The success of the DEI Community Engagement series needs leaders such as yourselves to bring your experiences whether in technology or Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion or both to help us challenge companies in their efforts to engage and practice diversity and inclusion.
