DIVE IN AND SAVE OUR SEAS Service Learning for HS Students

SCUBA certified high school students are invited to participate in this six day service learning program at MarineLab in Key Largo, FL! Students will learn about the marine ecology of the Florida Keys, participate in research opportunities such as water quality data collection and fish surveys, and have the opportunity to help with coral reef restoration through cleaning baby corals.
Students are supervised by MarineLab's highly skilled staff instructors and chaperone Ken Kessenich, a science teacher and SCUBA instructor from Milwaukee, WI. They can earn up to 12 community service hours in the course of this program!

FEE: $1300 per student, includes all meals, accommodations, field programs including boat dives, evening labs & lectures, BC, regulator, tanks and weights. A deposit of $200 is required to register for the program, which is non refundable after June 1, 2017. The balance is due on July 1, 2017.
PREREQUSITES: Student must be Open Water SCUBA certified and 15 - 19 years old.
