Calling all club officers – who have not yet attended the second-round of club officer training!
We need your presence at the last-chance club officer training event sponsored by District 30 on Saturday, February 25 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Chicago-Elk Grove, 1000 Busse Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. Mark your calendar to attend so you can experience our new club officer training format.
This FREE training event will feature two (2) sessions required for club officer credit.
Attend Session #1: Club Officer Breakout Roles. Whether you are a Club President, Vice President Education, Vice President Membership, Vice President Public Relations, Secretary, Treasurer, and/or Sergeant-at-Arms, you will receive ideas and techniques to help you successfully serve your club members in your club officer role until June 30.
Attend Session #2: Creating a Quality Club. This session will reveal for you the elements that satisfy club members; correlate the Moments of Truth (MOT) to the Distinguished Club Program (DCP); give tips on how to apply the Moments of Truth (MOT) in your club; and identify your leadership role along with specific duties of your clubs’ Executive Committee.
Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. Continental breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. Training will start at 9 a.m. and end at 12 p.m.

NOTE1: If you only attended the first-round of club officer training back in the summer, it is now time to attend the second-round of club officer training for the winter.
NOTE2: Make sure your club has an updated Club Officer List on file with Toastmasters International so you can receive credit for the training you attend. Visit www.toastmasters.org. Click the “Leadership Central” tab. Then click the “Club Central” link to login and access your club’s file. Call 949.858.8255 on Monday-Friday between 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. Pacific Time if you need help accessing your club’s files.
NOTE3: Club officer training events will now offer multiple sessions required for club officer credit. One-hour breakout sessions for club officer roles will no longer be sufficient for receiving club officer credit. Club officers are being asked to attend the whole training event which will include a general session PLUS officer role breakout sessions (at a minimum) for club officer credit. Please make time in your schedule to attend.
