Oxford Saïd is delighted to announce Lloyd Dorfman CBE, founder and president of Travelex Group, will be speaking at the School on Thursday 26 January as part of our Distinguished Speaker Seminar series.
Lloyd will be discussing the story of building his currency exchange business, Travelex, from one small shop into a global business. He will also share with us key moments, and some of the enormous challenges he has overcome in his notable career.
Most importantly, Lloyd will talk about his current day-business ventures from property to retail and his views on the key ingredients for success.

About the speaker
Lloyd is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is the founder and president of Travelex Group, the world’s largest retailer of foreign exchange, which started from one shop in London. He is Chairman and majority shareholder of both The Office Group (the flexible office company) and Doddle (a parcel collection and delivery business).
In the charity sector, Lloyd is Chairman of both The Prince’s Trust and Prince’s Trust International. He also serves on the board and supports a range of other arts and community charities. In 2008, he was appointed CBE for services to business and charity.
