Distinguished Lecture Series:Changing the Culture to End Gender-Based Violence

The Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center is pleased to announce its Spring 2018 Distinguished Lecture featuring Lynn Rosenthal, former White House Advisor on Violence Against Women. Prior to serving as the White House Advisor on Violence Against Women, Ms. Rosenthal served as the Executive Director of the National Network to End Domestic Violence representing state domestic violence coalitions in Congress and working closely with corporate leaders to develop funding initiatives addressing violence against women. Ms. Rosenthal will discuss the history of the movement to end violence against women, the #MeToo trend, the role of the Violence Against Women Act, and the new and emergency policy and cultural issues that will carry the work into the future.

DePaul University College of Law is an accredited CLE provider. This event has been approved for up to 1.5 hours of general CLE credits. 1.5 hours of Professional Responsibility credits pending.

Lunch will be served at 11:30am and Ms. Rosenthal will begin her presentation promptly at 12:00pm.
