Do you remember the first time you realized your body could be broken or harmed?
About this event
At a time when many of us are still physically separated, Delaware Humanities will host more “Distant Discussions” to bring us together. We will use videos, shorts stories, poems, and more to bridge the gap between us, when a sense of community and being united is especially important.
We will “meet” once a month via Zoom to have a short, 30 minute conversation.
Join us for a short discussion of the poem "By the Neck" by Laura Johnsrude and the poem "My Mother's Body" by Thomas Dooley.
This Literature and Medicine themed session is co-hosted by the Department of Health and Social Services Library.
