About this event
Do you want to gain an understanding how you can work more effectively with the police and local authorities to help disrupt offenders and protect children who are being sexually or criminally exploited?
Our 1/2 day course will provide an insight into how legislation can be employed to protect children from being exploited, what tactics the police can use to investigate offenders and, how a multi agency approach to disruption, creates better safeguarding for children and families.
Our course will be delivered by Mark Whelan MBE, an ex Detective Sergeant of Lancashire Constabulary who has 24 years of experience in policing and managed one of the first multi-agency teams who dealt with child sexual exploitation as a specialism.
