Event description

We are delighted to invite you to our first DisruptDC Monthly Call on Thursday, October 12th at 3pm Eastern, 12pm Pacific. These calls will keep you up-to-date on our ongoing efforts to win government reform and other interesting developments in the field. We hope that you will join us.

This call will feature three topics:

  • We are honored to host Michael Porter from Harvard Business School and Katherine Gehl, former CEO of Gehl Foods, to discuss their recent report on the economic implications of our dysfunctional political environment: Why Competition in the Politics Industry is Failing America. Professor Porter is one of the world's most influential business advisers, and Ms. Gehl is committed to ensuring that business leaders make a difference as advocates for better government.

  • We will also discuss the recent and growing bipartisan scrutiny on Silicon Valley’s political and economic power and what it means for civic-minded business leaders. This is an opportunity for open discussion, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts.

  • Finally, we will update you on our current and forthcoming activities, including the California Disclose Act, which is now awaiting Governor Brown's signature.

Space is limited, so please register today. Call-in information will be provided via email when you register. We look forward to connecting on October 12!
