Event description

Description

'Tis the season for hot chocolate and fun, but with a quirky Nightmare Before Christmas twist! We'll be whipping up a batch of disgustingly delicious Oogie Boogie inspired green hot chocolate truffles stuffed full of mini marshmallows and decorated with sweet candy bugs. Drop one of these tasty looking truffle balls into hot milk and watch it magically transform into thick, decadent green mint hot chocolate. These might be excellent gifts for the in-laws this holiday season-- or a perfect evening with your kiddo or parent! We'll start with a quick lesson on how to mix up these easy truffles, then spend the rest of the class decorating before retiring to the couches and glowing fireplace for a little chocolaty respite! Bone appetite! Beverages available for purchase. Ages 13 and up. Registration ends December 12th.

When: Thursday, December 14th from 7:00-8:30PM.

Where: JUMP Share Studio on the ground floor.

Cost: $25.00

What to Expect: Beer and wine is available for purchase.

I’ve been employed for over 15 years in Hollywood in film and television and spent much of that time working on horror films. I’m a member of both the DGA as well as the WGA. I’ve done everything from write episodes for the wildly popular and bloody Syfy series, “Z Nation,” to costume design “Sharknado 3” and “Sharknado 5.” I’ve built props and slung blood for horror films like “Hatchet,” and “Hansel vs Gretel.”

With a background in professional imagination and a hands-on education in practical effects, I’m using what I learned in Hollywood and twisting it around to work in the culinary world. I’m taking what I’ve learned about mold making, fabricating, and creating, along with a healthy dose of how to professionally scare people, and moving all that from the (big and small) screen into the kitchen.
