Event description

Description

Discussion: DETROIT is a Detroit-focused event that presents LTU’s best faculty, student, and alumni creative work. The selected submissions will address and engage the City of Detroit as a central theme with the specific emphasis left to the creator’s preference. Selected submissions will be curated into a publication who’s print will be released in April 2017 during the CoAD Design Week.

DCDT’s December 13th Exhibition of Discussion: DETROIT will feature the selected work and boast a panel discussion chaired by CoAD Dean Karl Daubmann. The panel will consist of local community leader and advocates Cézanne J. Charles, Director of Creative Industries at Creative Many Michigan, Justin Mast, Managing Director at M1/DTW LLC and others. The discussion will focus on the City of Detroit as revealed through the exhibited projects. Audience participation is welcomed and encouraged.

Drinks, Hors D'oeuvres and Intellectual Conversation provided.
