The State of Hawaii believes individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have paid employment end up living a life they truly want! The DOH/DDD also believes that all people regardless of disability should have the opportunity to work and recognizes that individuals with I/DD achieve successful employment outcomes when:

• Individuals are empowered to act as the driver of their job search process
• Individuals have access to wrap around supports
• Individuals are given the opportunity to engage in a Customized Employment process

This information session will cover the following: Changes to the Waiver Employment Services

• What are the changes and new requirements?
• Why were they made?
• How do we implement them?
• Where can we get training?
