Description
The State of Hawaii believes individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have paid employment end up living a life they truly want! The DOH/DDD also believes that all people regardless of disability should have the opportunity to work and recognizes that individuals with I/DD achieve successful employment outcomes when:
- Individuals are empowered to act as the driver of their job search process
- Individuals have access to wrap around supports
- Individuals are given the opportunity to engage in a Customized Employment process
This information session will cover the following: Changes to the Waiver Employment Services
- What are the changes and new requirements?
- Why were they made?
- How do we implement them?
- Where can we get training?
To assist with making this training more accessible, there will be 4 sessions throughout the month of July held in multiple locations:
