Discovering William of Malmesbury

A DAY OF EXPERT TALKS ABOUT MALMESBURY’S GREAT MEDIEVAL WRITER WILLIAM OF MALMESBURY WITH SOME OF THE WORLD’S LEADING SCHOLARS

William of Malmesbury was one of the most prolific and important writers of his time. He spent all of his adult life as a monk of Malmesbury and the magnificent setting of the abbey church in Malmesbury is the venue for a day of expert talks exploring different facets of his work.

This event also marks the launch of Discovering William of Malmesbury, a new collection of essays by the speakers and other scholars.
