DISCOVERING SHAKESPEARE



Discovering Shakespeare is a one-man show of Shakespeare Monologues with a live musician

"Brian the caretaker works the night shift at the local church. With a few hours to kill every night, he decides to start reading the entire works of William Shakespeare. Before long Brian get so excited he starts begins taking over the entire church playing his favorite kings, drunks, princes, lovers, murders, and magicians."

Performed by: Lewis Bray

Lewis is an actor/writer. He won the Norman Beaton Fellowship in 2018 and spent 5 months as a member of the BBC Radio Drama
Company. He has also toured the UK with his one-man show Cartoonopolis, about his autistic brother

Composition and Musical Arrangement by Bobby Locke

Bobby Locke is a composer, lyricist, and orchestrator, primarily working in theatre. Over the past few years, he has worked closely with the Lazarus Theatre Company, whose work aims to resurrect Classics with new life. Productions include ‘The Tempest’, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, and a musical adaptation of ‘The Beggar’s Opera’.
