This event is an introduction of this grass roots movement. We, the women of the industy are a growing voice. We the people are responsible to establish a sustainable channel that will allow for our future generations to prosper.

Organized by

Florence is passionate about the well being of Indigenous women. Currently, as a Mine Operator, she want to highlight the need to focus on creating cohesive womens groups within the Mining & Resource industry as a space where traditionally women had access to within their own communities. The importance of creating a space that is fluid to suit the dynamics of shift rosters is where Florence wants to firstly focus. Ultimately, she is focused on establishing this much needed group as the peak body for Indigenous Women in Mining Australia.
