Come and be amazed by the virutual world that awaits you at the Emerging Analytics Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. This virtual journey will take you through a maze of engaging & fun-filled displays that demponstrate the latest VR/AR technology and applications.

"Get-in-the-know"! Expand your knowledge about VR while being fully immersed in computer-generated worlds and meeting the EAC team members who are designing and driving the applications. Visit our virtual wonderland where art, science and technology intersect.

It's all happening right here at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock!

 Tour Information

Location: EIT Bldg, Room 420

During the 30-40 minute tour experience, groups of fifteen (15) will explore four (4) different areas in which they can see, interact, and be awed by unique virtual worlds created right here in Little Rock by our talented faculty and students. Attendees can hike over ancient terrains, dissect a virtual cadavor, explore pirate island, fly a helicopter through generated scenarios, walk through virtual buildings,  catch a glimpse of the Star Wars dark side, challenge your sense of direction in "maze runner", become a virtual hooptser, and many other stimulating and engaging demonstations.

The Tour Process

  • Tickets are sold in groups of fifteen (15) for demo segments that last 10 minutes.
  • There are four (4) Tour Stops along this virtual journey. We've designed a 10 minute experience in 3 of the 4 tour stops.
  • The Tour Stop Plan:

Tour Stop 1:  Multiple demos are staged at this station

Tour Stop 2:  C.A.V.E. Demos (A different C.A.V.E. based demo will run each hour)

Tour Stop 3:  Multiple demos are staged at this station

Tour Stop 4:  The Virtual Wonderland - A self-paced virtual viewing experience

Each attendee will spend approximately 8 minutes in Tour Stops 1, 2, & 3 (30 minutes total including transition times). The final tour stop  is the Virtual Wonderland. As attendees exit Tour Stop 3, they will be at the entryway of the Virtual Wonderland exhibit. One can exit or proceed through this exhibit. (Estimated total participation time 30 - 45 minutes).

Tickets for this event are FREE. However, ALL attendees must register & present printed or digital free ticket at check-in. Guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to their selected tour time.
