Description

The International Organization for Standardization has officially released the upgraded ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System version in September 2015. Every 7 years this standard will be upgraded and revised by the TC 176 ISO Technical committee to enhance its relevance and effectiveness. Organizations certified under the outdated 1SO 9001:2008 versions have to quickly migrate to the upgraded version to remain competitive in the business world. Organizations have to conform to this new changes and revision to sustain their accreditation by the certification body.

The ISO 9001 Quality Management System is the world’s most popular quality improvement standard, with over one million certified organizations in 180 countries around the globe. It is the only standard in the 9000 family of standards published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that can be used for the purpose of conformity assessment. ISO 9001 also serves as the basis for many other important sector-specific standards, as well as widely used management system standards such as OHSAS 18001 and ISO 1400.1

The new standard emphasis on the process approach principles and has also included risk –based thinking to ensure preventive and mitigating activities are part of the system to enhance customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and waste reduction. This course provides clear understanding of the new requirements and get ready for certification.
