Why press pause with tech?
Constant connection to technology and the online world can take a significant toll on mental health, leading to increased stress, anxiety, and feelings of being overwhelmed.
'Doom scrolling', 'digital burnout', 'hyperconnectivity', 'information overload', 'screen addiction', 'FOMO (Fear of Missing Out)about missing out on social events or news' - these are just a few of the terms used to describe our ever increasing relationship with tech. How can we re-set and plan a rhythm that can balance a relationship with tech?
An imbalance can lead to reduced face-to-face interactions, impact social skills and emotional well-being, disrupt sleep patterns and decrease overall attention span, making it harder to focus on tasks and enjoy real-world experiences. Is it time to step back to replenish and re-set?
