Overview

Join us for a real and human discussion on disability and inclusion - no filters, no barriers, just real talk.

Welcome to Disability & Inclusion Unplugged CBR!

Care about Digital Inclusion but never met someone who's blind? Have you ever thought "I wished that I could ask someone who is blind how I can make my product easier to use?" Well now you can!

Skip the lip service this International Day of People with Disability, come hang out with us to learn from those who rely on assistive technologies right here in Canberra!

YOU play an important role in shaping the future of government services, and with the invisible nature of customer interactions via digital channels natural you assume everyone navigates the online world the same way you do. That's why we're inviting product managers, researchers, designers, engineers, architects, testers, business analysts, copywriters and anyone who advocates for making government digital service better to attend this engaging 1.5 hour session. Awareness is a leap forward so the more the merrier...feel free to spread the word with your fellow digital champions.

The event will feature a candid conversation between See Me Please's blind tester Garth Humphreys and See Me Please's Alex Mironov in Canberra. Garth will share first-hand insights from his lived experience, offering a deeper understanding of how he navigates the digital world, the challenges he encounters, what supports accessibility, and where improvements are still needed.

And YES you will be able to ask Garth those burning questions you always had in the back of your mind!

If you have any accessibility requirements please reach out to Alex at alex@seemeplease.com
