COMPETITION TEAMS PLEASE READ: There is no "application", just THIS registration, so be sure you know what size, power type, and ancillaries you want - they are all first come, first served. We will cap at 55 pro teams, 20 backyard teams, and 12 teams per KCBS ancillary. *SCA registration, limits, etc. will be different and reside outside of this registration.

The Dirty Boots Country Fest BBQ & Meats Contests is sanctioned by The Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS). Upwards of 75 total teams compete in Pro and Backyard divisions with a number of ancillary events including a local tradition "Best Steamer Contest". The family friendly country themed festival in Boonsboro, MD will draw thousands of spectators to sample and purchase some of the east coast's finest barbeque, enjoy live country music, kids activities and more. The 2021 event is August 27-28, 2021.
