Event description

Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch presents:

Dirtwire & Poranguí

Join us for a one-of-a-kind musical evening with the psychedelic Americana of Dirtwire and indigenous rhythms of Porangui -- deep in the heart of Southern Utah canyon country.

This evening will feature an immersive musical experience in The Siloon at Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch - a historic underground event space that includes a state of the art sound system, speakeasy lounge with an outdoor deck & bonfire with breaktaking vistas.

Dirtwire - consisting of David Satori (Beats Antique), Evan Fraser (Hamsa Lila; Stellamara), and Mark Reveley (Jed and Lucia) - has curated the evening to be an unforgettable hootenanny in Boulder, Utah. Special guests include Poranguí - a one-man orchestra of indigenous world rhythm and infectious grooves.

Workshop sessions are lead by: Dirtwire, which includes David Satori of Beats Antique, Evan Fraser of Stellamara and Mark Reveley of Jed and Lucia. Be a part of their creative process and their carnival of instruments that includes: melodicas, guitarjo, electric space fiddle, drums, jaw harps, vocals, toy megaphone, and harmonica - to name a few...

Dirtwire invited live looping musician Poranguí for this synergistic collaboration - a one-man orchestra who weaves ancestral songs and indigenous rhythms from around the globe.

This workshop offers an opportunity to learn from professional musicians in an immersive environment of the expansive Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch. Equipped with a professional recording studio, the ranch provides a respite to hone your listening skills in the expansive natural sounds and gather new musical techniques.

This small and intimate occasion is opened by community outdoor cabaret dinner comprised of a delicious locally-grown selection, served on the Ranch’s Great Lawn with expansive vistas overlooking Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. Also, join us Sunday morning for a delicious organic brunch from the Sweetwater Kitchen.

With wide-open vistas on the alpine desert ranch and bonfires under the starry night, the event is as much about the place as it is the music. Join us on this new musical journey together.

Lodging accommodations are available at the Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch, including multi-room cabins, lodge bunkhouse, tipis and camping. Please visit the website for lodging information & reservations.

Dinner & Show Cabaret combo is highly encouraged, limited show-only tickets available. This event will sell-out.

What is so special about this event?

And so, Dirtwire wanted to share this experience with their fans.
