Event description
An intimate evening of theater, art and exploration at DC Arts Center

About this Event

Since its inception thirty years ago DC Arts Center has been the place to go for intellectual stimulation and creative expression. The intimate 40 seat theater and the SoHo like gallery has presented all types of work created by all types of artists. From Shakespeare to Burlesque, from abstract expressionism to bronze sculptures, audiences have run the gamut of experiences and been offered a dazzling array of artistic visions.

We, the Board of Directors, would like to give you a taste of this organization and show just why we find it so exciting and important to the culture of our city. Please join me for “Director’s View” on Thursday, October 24 at 6:30 pm for an evening of a bit of theater, visual art and exploration while sipping complementary drinks and wonderful light fare provided by Johnny’s Half Shell. A ten minute scene from an upcoming play by SCENA Theatre Group and a short talk from artist Richard Dana will highlight the evening and I think you will see why we think DC Arts Center is a great organization full of excitement and enthusiasm and has garnered the admiration of the DC arts community.

All proceed to benefit the programs of the District of Columbia Arts Center, a non profit 501(c) 3 organization as designated by the IRS.
