Event description

Description

The Pacific Alliance, founded in 2011 by the presidents of Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru, became one of the most interesting and successful mechanisms of integration in Latin America. Predominantly economic and commercial in nature, the four mentioned countries have focused on creating an area of deep-seated integration that fosters greater growth, development and competitiveness, in order to achieve free movement of goods, services, capital and people. Taken as a block, the Pacific Alliance is the world’s seventh-largest economy with a population of 217 million inhabitants and an average annual growth rate of 2.5 percent.

The San Francisco based Consuls General from Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru will join us for an in-depth discussion on the Pacific Alliance and the impact it's made as well as other regional issues.

Doors Open: 11:45 AM
Lunch: 11:45 AM - 12:15 PM
