Brett Yarkon, Director – Head of Capital Introduction for Cowen Prime Services. In this role, Brett focuses on assessing the hedge fund strategies in relation to investor mandates and makes relevant introductions when appropriate. The group covers both HNW, UHNW, and Institutional hedge fund investors who focus on smaller more emerging managers. This consists of Family Offices, Endowments, Pensions, Fund of Funds and Investment Platforms. The group acts as a consultant to many of their clients who are in launch or pre-launch stage assisting with marketing materials, due diligence questionnaires, mock due diligence meetings, and assessment of investor universe. Brett got his start in hedge funds with Guggenheim Partners, operating as a Senior Vice President for a $3B multi-strategy hedge fund product focusing on risk management and manager research across the strategy spectrum. After Guggenheim, he joined Israel A. Englander & Co. to start a boutique prime brokerage business focusing on emerging managers.

Colleen Byrne, Vice President – Capital Introduction for Cowen Prime Services. In this role, Colleen focuses on assessing the hedge fund strategies in relation to investor mandates and makes relevant introductions when appropriate. The group covers both HNW, UHNW, and Institutional hedge fund investors who focus on smaller more emerging managers. This consists of Family Offices, Endowments, Pensions, Fund of Funds and Investment Platforms. The group acts as a consultant to many of their clients who are in launch or pre-launch stage, assisting with marketing materials, due diligence questionnaires, mock due diligence meetings, and assessment of investor universe. Colleen began her career at Asset Alliance/Hedge Harbor as Associate Director and her responsibilities included coordinating strategic marketing initiatives and raising money for Hedge Funds. After Asset Alliance/ Hedge Harbor, Colleen served as a Consultant to Hedge Connection where she was the lead liaison with Investors in the Capital Club and was responsible for expanding the Hedge Connection brand and developing strategic partnerships.
