Description

Oak Park Temple, St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church and the local Oak Park/River Forest Muslim community invite you to join us for a family friendly interfaith event, celebrating Ramadan Iftar “break the fast” with new and old friends, while raising awareness and supporting:

Greater Chicago Food Depository

  • We will supply a traditional halal meal
  • You are welcome to bring a vegetarian side dish or a dessert
  • A donation of a non-perishable food item OR a minimum suggested donation of $25 to the Greater Chicago Food Depository is requested

All donations collected will be delivered directly to GCFD - please, be generous!

The event is free, but we request that participants bring a non-perishable food item to donate, or a suggested minimum donation of $25 for the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
