Dinner, Talk, and Book-Signing with Isa Chandra Moskowitz
Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM (EST)
Update: You can now attend just the book-signing portion of the event, with no RSVP required. Details near the bottom...
This event is part of Isa's book tour for her latest cookbook, Isa Does it -- Amazingly Easy, Wildly Delicious Vegan Recipes For Every Day Of The Week. In this beautifully designed book, Isa--chosen as favorite cookbook author by VegNews Magazine readers seven years in a row--lures you into the kitchen with nearly 200 tantalizing recipes and provides tons of tips on how to make vegan cooking efficiently awesome.
You'll be able to buy Isa Does It at the event, and get it signed signed by the author. There will also be plenty of time for questions.
The event is FREE, but since it is at a restaurant, attendees are expected to make a food purchase. Busboys and Poets has lots of great vegan selections throughout its menu.
Since we expect this event to be full, RSVPs are required. Note that when you "buy" a free ticket for this event, that's your RSVP; you don't have to do anything more.
Update: Because this event has a HUGE wait list, we have emailed everyone who RSVPd to inform them that they have to confirm that they are attending the event. The deadline for confirming to email@example.com is end of day, December 10.
The evening starts at 6:30 and goes until 9. Here's the approximate schedule:
6:30 — get seated, order, start eating
7:25 — brief introductions from from VSDC and Compassion for Animals
7:30 — Isa speaks
8:10 — Q&A
8:30 — book-signing
If coming just for the book-signing: Although the rough schedule has that starting at 8:30, it could start earlier, so you should plan on coming as early as 8. Remember, you can buy the book at Busboys and Poets. (You could also eat in the regular part of the restaurant beforehand or afterward.) Remember: No RSVP is needed if you are only coming for the book-signing.
