Cooper Square Committee cordially invites you to a Riverboat Cruise Gala on Thursday, August 19th, boarding at 6 pm (23rd Street and FDR Drive). The boat departs at 6:30 pm sharp and returns at 9:30 pm. Food and drink are included in the ticket price, with an open bar (beer and wine) and DJ.

The Gala will support Cooper Square Committee's affordable housing, small business, environmental greening and senior programs. Cooper Square Committee serves over 2,000 Lower East Side/East Village residents annually and has been a leading organization in NYC for over 6 decades working to protect tenant rights and develop affordable and inclusive housing.

We have worked to keep our tenants, small businesses and community members safe and solvent during this Covid-19 crisis. During the Gala, we will present a Frances Goldin Community Champion Award to Lower East Side Ready, an organization that has provided so much support to dozens of membership organizations.

Capacity will be limited to 150 people (50% of capacity). We will mingle and spread out on the upper and lower decks, with plenty of cross ventilation on both levels. Wear your dancing shoes!

ALL ATTENDEES MUST BRING PROOF OF VACCINATION, such as Excelsior App, vaccination card or photo of vaccination card on your phone.
