Description

The Woods Hole Film Festival presents the sixth film in the monthly film series, Dinner & a Movie. The series screens independent film each month from November through May.

Hunt for the Wilderpeople

Raised on hip-hop and foster care, defiant city kid Ricky gets a fresh start in the New Zealand countryside. He quickly finds himself at home with his new foster family: Aunt Bella, Uncle Hec (Sam Neill), and dog Tupac. When a tragedy threatens to ship Ricky to another home, both he and Hec go on the run in the bush. As a national manhunt ensues, the newly branded outlaws must face their options: go out in a blaze of glory or overcome their differences and survive as a family.

NOTE: COST OF RESTAURANT PURCHASE IS SEPARATE FROM THE SCREENING TICKET

The Captain Kidd, 77 Water Street, Woods Hole, is offering a special film dinner menu on the evening of a film. Please call (508) 548-8563 for reservations. Please bring your ticket to show the server and let them know you are going to the film.

Quicks Hole Tavern, 29 Railroad Ave., Woods Hole, is offereing a free "bag of donuts" desert with the purchase of a dinner prior to the film. Please bring your ticket to show the server and let them know you are going to the film. Call (508) 495-0048 for a reservation.

AFTER THE FILM

Head across the street to the Water Street Kitchen and Public House for free bar snacks with a drink purchase.

Seating

All seating is general admission. Doors open at 7 p.m. Screenings have been selling out, so we recommend that you purchase your tickets in advance. If the screening is not sold out, tickets will be available at the door.

Student and veteran ticket purchasers please bring a valid ID

There is plenty of street parking.
