What is pink and public and pop-up party perfect? Dîner En Rose!

On September 10, we want you to bring a light picnic, your party spirit and pro-choice heart (and wear your best pink gown, of course) to celebrate access to abortion for all!

A whole slew of organizations and individuals in Salt Lake City will be participating in ALL ACCESS 2016, a night that will make history as thousands of pro-choice Americans gather in cities across the U.S. You and all your pro-choice friends in Salt Lake City, Cleveland, Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Philadelphia and elsewhere are going to show the world the power and prowess of America's pro-access majority! The ALL ACCESS 2016 events will unite reproductive rights and justice supporters across the country to stand up for abortion access for everyone who needs it.

How will Dîner En Rose work?

This is NOT some traditional fundraising dinner. First, we're not raising money. We are raising our voices, loud and proud, in support of abortion access! Second, you don't have to buy a ticket, eat rubber chicken or listen to any speakers. We set the table for you, with a light dinner and delicious snacks - and you can bring all your favorite foods to round out the picnic meal. We'll also provide the music and plenty of pink swag. Third, don't worry - you can wear whatever you like, as long as it is pink, pink, PINK!

Imagine the tamest flash mob you ever witnessed, combined with your favorite summer concert at Red Butte Gardens, and lightly sprinkled with the spirit of Dîner En Blanc (the mysterious and trendy "Dinner in White" that periodically springs up in cities across the world). That's Dîner En Rose!

You wear pink - preferably your most glorious and inspired pink! You bring a light picnic - we will set every table with a light dinner and delicious desserts, so all you have to do is bring your favorite picnic snacks and refreshing drinks to round out the meal! You join your friends at a table WE set for you, in a wonderfully public outdoor space, to make a huge show of PINK in support of abortion access for all.

How do you participate?

All you have to do is reserve your place at this community table for reproductive justice, nabbing a free ticket for you and each of your friends, to help us keep track of the size of the Dîner En Rose crowd. We will let you know, as the big day approaches, where to go (you can count on a beautiful and unique outdoor location somewhere in Salt Lake City) and more of what to expect.

We will give you tips on how to pack a delicious picnic dinner, and preview the musical entertainment you will enjoy as you dine with friends in support of abortion access in Utah and across the nation.

We'll email all registered participants with the LOCATION of the pop-up dinner within a week of September 10.

A diverse range of organizations are sponsors of this event, including: Journey of Hope; the Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault; the National Council for Jewish Women (Utah Section); Racially Just Utah; Mormons for Agency; SLC Feminist; USNC for UN Women Utah; the ACLU of Utah; Planned Parenthood Association of Utah; the SLC Democratic Women's Caucus; Students for Choice – Westminster College; Students for Choice – Weber State University; and Students for Choice – University of Utah.

You don't have to be a member or supporter of ANY of these organizations to participate. If you are pro-choice, pro-access, pretty (or not so pretty) in pink, and ready to party, YOU ARE INVITED!!
