Junior's Restaurant Times Square
Home of the World's Most Fabulous Cheesecake! Whether you are seeing a Broadway show, touring the sights or just in need of a great stop in the heart of the city, Junior's on Broadway is the ideal location at the Crossroads of the World. This spectacular restaurant features outdoor dining on our patio during the summer, a full service bar, and beautiful new dining room. Our extensive menu features most of our favorite Brooklyn specialties as well as some added sophisticated salads and entrees perfect for a night out in the big city! We are located near the corner of Broadway and 45th Street with a take away entrance in the famous Shubert Alley linking 44th and 45th Streets. Of course, we have a bakery with a full selection of coffee drinks and cakes and pastries as well. Trivia Fact--when opened in 2006, our famous "Brooklyn, NY" sign on the Restaurant Kiosk confused tourists and locals alike who thought they exited the subway at the wrong stop. We like to call it a taste of Brooklyn in the heart of Manhattan. Check out the menu online! -- Address: 1515 Broadway (45th St. B/W Broadway & 8th Ave), New York, NY 10019 -- Phone: (212) 302-2000 --Website: --

Pio Pio
This Pio Pio location features multiple areas in which to experience the food, drinks, and "casa alegre" vibe. The 40 foot long marble bar offers plenty of space. The drink menu includes pisco cocktails made with fresh juices and marinated fruits, as well as white and red sangrias. Several tables and booths overlook a large double-floor dining room underneath a ceiling made of thousands of randomly-woven tree branches. According to the website, Architectural Record, it is a place in which one can "forget the streets of New York and soak in the enchanting quality of the place." If you’ve been to Pio Pio but not here, please stop in. If you've been here before, we're sure you'll want to return for their chicken and other Peruvian plates, like their dozen-plus selection of ceviches, Chinese-Peruvian stir fries, steak, and fish. Make sure to check their website to look at their menu! -- Address: 604 Tenth Avenue (between 43rd & 44th Streets), NY, NY --Telephone: (212) 459-2929 --Website:

In 2007 we opened the first Smashburger with one simple notion in mind: despite the overwhelming number of restaurants serving burgers, Americans were starving for something better. And we could deliver. Our vision is to connect with America’s passion for its favorite food on a local level and in a space where “Smashed Fresh, Served Delicious” means dedication to crafting the best-tasting burger around. Our smashed burgers are always made-to-order, never frozen, smashed and seared to perfection on our grill. Our menu is also kid-friendly, vegetarian-approved and topped off with frosty milkshakes. This Smashburger in particular is located right next to the Empire State Building! Check out the menu online! -- Address: 10 W 33rd Street, NY, NY 10001 --Phone: (646) 692-6445 -- Website:

Young Child Expo & Conference

The Young Child Expo & conference is a unique forum that brings together all early childhood professionals to learn about the latest information, products, services, and resources for early childhood development.  the focus of our conference is on the essential topics & innovative approaches that can help all young children learn & grow well.  Our attendees seek practical information that they can use immediately in their work.  About half of the conference program will include topics affecting all children (e.g., social emotional development, literacy, language development), and half of the program will include special needs topics such as autism, speech, motor, behavior, and other developmental disorders.

For 15 years, Los Niños Training has hosted the annual Young Child Expo & Conference in New York City which was founded by Dr. Scott Mesh (the executive director of Los Niños Training and co-founder of Los Niños Services) and Dr. Vincent Alfonso (currently Dean, School of Education, Gonzaga University). In 2017, over 1400 teachers, psychologists, social workers, pediatricians and other professionals attended from 45 states and 19 countries including Hong Kong, Denmark, the Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland, Iceland, Australia, Gibraltar, Spain, United Kingdom, Germany, Bhutan, Mexico, Republic of Korea, and Iceland. Our sponsors include Autism Speaks, Bank Street College, Mercy College, WNET Education Department (Channel 13), Sesame Workshop, Children’s Museum of Manhattan, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, NY Family Magazine, and many more.
