This program is specifically designed for private investigators, private or corporate security, law enforcement, and those who will conduct, or support dignitary/executive protective service operations.
Endorsed by the International Foundation of Protection Officers, and fully accredited, this Dignitary & Executive Protection training course is based on the best practices of corporate security and law enforcement organizations.
Students will attend (7 Days, 80 hrs) of training, covering 37 Learning objectives, completing 12 Practical exercises and a live capstone event.
This course can serve to address the initial training needs of new protective service agents entering the field, as well as refresh the skills of those assigned to permanent or long-term security details.
This curriculum will cover all levels of conventional threats, with an emphasis placed on introducing the student to the critical fundamental elements of protection and the methodology and concept of security in depth, and is in accordance with applicable international, federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
This program will target those skills and procedures used for the security of elected officials, diplomats, corporate officers, CEO’s, and private individuals of wealth, or other risk factors who are potential targets of terrorism and/or criminal acts.
This course is approved as or for:
- In-service training credit for law enforcement
- College credit through Henley Putnam University
- 12 CEUs by the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board
- An alternative training program for the Virginia Department of
- Criminal Justice Personal Protection Specialist Program 35E.
In addition, participants completing this course may be eligible to receive Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit toward ASIS re-certification. Individuals seeking re-certification credit should check with ASIS and review the filing process at:
