Description

Join Edgenet and Forrester October 24th to discuss digital transformation, its effects on the market, and how properly managed product content can be the solution retailers need to stay on top of the market.

Oct. 23rd, 5pm - 7pm: (Optional) Networking happy hour @ L.A. JACKSON

Meet with some of the leading retailers, etailers, and distributors in the home improvement, automotive aftermarket, and consumer goods verticals who will be sharing their thoughts and ideas at our Summit event. Enjoy craft cocktails and a selection of handpicked wines and local craft beers at the L.A. JACKSON bar.

About the venue:
The L.A. JACKSON bar sits atop the Thompson Hotel in Nashville’s Gulch District, boasting both indoor and outdoor rooftop seating. The rooftop overlooks the full Nashville skyline, while the indoor seating is decorated with rich, dark wood and brass furnishings. Chandeliers and ceiling mirrors create an ambiance of low light that reflects throughout the bar.
L.A. JACKSON opened in late 2016, and boasts a full menu of small plates and desserts that harken to some of the South’s most classic and beloved dishes with a modern twist, created by chef John Besh and pastry chef Lisa White. This bar truly represents the innovation and creativity being brought to New Nashville.

Oct. 24th, 10am - 5pm: Summit @ Edgenet Headquarters
Spend a full day at the Edgenet Headquarters for a collaborative Summit on digital transformation and solving retail’s biggest problems, complete with a keynote discussion with a Senior Business Analyst (Digital Business Strategy) from Forrester Research.
Retailers of all types, B2B and B2C, are experiencing a new type of market disruption, taking place on a digital battlefield. Join Edgenet and some of the leading retailers, etailers, and distributors in the home improvement, automotive aftermarket, and consumer goods verticals to discuss digital disruption and transformation, and how managing data and product content will breathe new life into an industry that so many are ready to proclaim as “dying or dead.”

About the venue:
Built in 2015, the Nashville Edgenet team moved into the EN HQ on New Year’s Day, 2016. The large, open-floor plan office space itself is a manifestation of our dedication to fostering a truly collaborative environment, with no silos or closed-door policies. Our dedication to making ample space for synergy is reflective of our intentions for building out the tech industry in Nashville to make it a key player in the national tech industry.

Oct. 24th, 5pm-7pm: (Optional) Networking happy hour @ The Black Abbey Brewing Company
Discuss all you’ve learned at our immersive Summit event, and decide how you will use these revelations and industry tip-offs to propel your business into the digital future of B2B and B2C retail.

About the venue:
Black Abbey Brewing is one of the newer, more unique breweries in Nashville. Inspired by the story of Martin Luther, the building itself was designed to remind consumers of a monastic chapter house. Their beers, brewed in-house, mimic the Belgian-style ales created by Martin Luther and his monks that upset that status quo of the German lager biers of the time.
Their taproom, the Fellowship Hall, is a place to gather with friends while enjoying a pint of their “unique but approachable” brews at one of their handmade farmhouse tables. Their brand has been honed to harken to a time when artisans shared their work with their neighbors. Edgenet feels this spirit of collaboration amongst artisans will be mirrored during the Summit event.
