Telling your brand story can be challenging. How do you get to the heart of what matters most to your prospective students? How do you streamline communication and resources to ensure that your brand story is consistent, compelling and impactful?

Great content starts with good strategy. If you're struggling to align your program's unique story with the broader institutional objectives, this workshop is for you. Attendees will walk away with a workbook outlining:

  • Goal-setting strategies.

  • Storymining processes.

  • Stakeholder management methods.

  • Communication workflow actions.

To get the most out of this training, bring a member of your admissions and marketing communications teams to work through goals and challenges together.


Schedule:

9 AM: Breakfast & Networking
Breakfast is included in the workshop pricing. Arrive early for a meet and greet to get to know your colleagues and the Converge team.

10 AM: Digital Storytelling 101: Key Terms & Best Practices 
We'll kick things off with an overview of key terms, technologies and best practices for digital storytelling in #highered.

11 AM: Defining Your Story and Identifying Your Listeners
Bring your user personas and institutional objectives. We'll use this time to refine those tools and outline a messaging architecture that supports your institutional objectives.

12 PM: Lunch & Learn
Lunch is included in the workshop pricing. This is an in-session lunch and learn to further develop your personas and messaging with the presenters.

1-3 PM: Workshopping Your Content Model
Once your persona and message architecture are outlined, we'll spend the afternoon developing a sample content model to carry out your messaging themes.
