Digital Photography 101 (Part A&B)

Digital 101 is designed for beginners who own a point-and-shoot or DSLR camera and want to learn more about how their camera works. If you have just purchased your camera, or if you have been using your camera for some time but want to more fully utilize the features that your camera provides, then this class is for you.
This course is a classroom, instructor-led course that will be held at Southeastern Camera, 2410 Atlantic Ave.
3 hour course: $69
Menus, dials, modes and functions
Memory cards, storage and quality settings
Lens fundamentals and selection
Shooting modes (Automatic, Scene Modes, Program, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Manual)
Built-in flash operation
Basic downloading, sizing and emailing photos
Suggested shooting assignments
Please bring: Camera, charged batteries, camera manual, accessories.

INSTRUCTOR - VIKI REDDING
Viki Redding is a graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA and has spent 20 years working as a photographer, motion picture camera assistant, videographer, multimedia designer and
digital photography instructor. She currently shoots child and family portraiture in the Triangle Area for the company she owns, Mindful I Photography (www.mindfuli.com). She sees photography as a gift and
feels privileged and honored to share that gift through teaching digital photography to others.
