Our “Sphere of Influence(r)” series was created to highlight the new wave of thinkers creating the strategies, platforms & content fueling modern influencer marketing initiatives.

Over the course of this mini conference you'll hear from leading marketers who will reveal insights behind influencer campaigns for some of the world's biggest brands.

The sessions include:

Danny comes from the PR & ad agency world and has been planning and executing influencer marketing campaigns for 10+ years, and throughout that time he’s worked on brands such as HISTORY Channel, Absolut, Western Union, Hasbro, and more. Danny believes that by inserting influencers at the core of a strategy, marketers can find wins across their marketing ecosystem. Danny currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife, a cat named Cindy, and is a huge Star Wars fan.

Edgar Hernandez currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer of Complex Networks where he leads a team of 100 focused on driving new revenue across all media platforms. Under Edgar’s leadership, the company has grown its branded and sponsored revenue by over 22% and grew key categories of Footwear and Grooming looking to reach Complex’s influential 18-24 and 18-34 male demographic. Edgar also oversees brand partnerships and sales for ComplexCon, the most influential youth retail and music festival attracting major brands from Fashion, Footwear, Apparel, Spirits, Automotive, Packaged Goods, Technology, and Fast Food. The globally covered event is attended by 50,000 millennials and gen-z influencers, and the two-day festival is considered the ‘center of the music and fashion world.’ Edgar has been with Complex since 2009 most recently SVP of Sales. It’s his second term with Complex, the first time in 2005 he was instrumental in building up existing and new businesses across Spirits, Fashion, Grooming, and Footwear. Before Complex, Edgar served as Publisher of Intermedia Vibe Holdings, LLC. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 2000 with a B.A. in Journalism.

Tiffany Hardin (Moderator)

Tiffany Hardin started her career in the music business privileged to work under the tutelage of hip hop's elite talent managers, John Monopoly and Mona Scott-Young, prior to working in advertising at Steve Stoute's Translation LLC. Here, she quickly rose from the CEO's executive assistant to the Distribution and Partnerships Manager leading influencer strategies & activations for Fortune 500 brands.

Later, Hardin developed Gild Creative Group, a consulting firm providing influencer and distribution marketing strategies for brands & advertisers for clients such as Target, Microsoft, and Civic Entertainment (a Ryan Seacrest Company.) She is an adjunct professor at NYU's Clive Davis School of Music, and an avid public speaker. Tiffany can be found working on her passion project, She Knows Now, a platform dedicated to developing confidence affirming content for aspiring millennials, and her latest start up venture, Social ARMM, an influencer intelligence tool.

Isata Yansaneh

Isata Yansaneh is currently a Director on the Strategy team at 23 Stories, Condé Nast’s creative and experiential agency where she works to provide insightful creative solutions for clients in the tech, finance, CPG, fashion travel and spirits industries. Trained in design strategy and human centered design at Parsons School of Design and in economics at Spelman College, Isata employs an analytical, creative and multidisciplinary rigor to business problem solving. Her strategy work has spanned many industries from publishing and fashion to waste management and corporate social responsibility. Prior to working with Conde Nast, she led marketing and brand management efforts on People, People Style Watch and Essence special edition magazines at Time Home Entertainment Inc, a division of Time Inc. Throughout her professional career and inclusive of her entrepreneurial endeavors, Isata has always found joy in working on problems that further unite community through the disciplines of design, experience, content and in crafting strategies for social good.

Rana Batyske is a multi faceted Brooklyn based creative entrepreneur most recognized for her role as Creative + Strategy Director for her husband under his MICK brand. Co-running the MICK brand has built an interesting empire based on his deejay career to what now has become a global business. Currently, their clients include some of the biggest names in music, tech, fashion, sports, and entertainment. Rana recently founded Mothergood, a design concept for children that focuses on sustainability. She credits her son, Myles, for empowering and inspiring her to explore the nature of identity and the culture of motherhood. As of late, she’s very passionate about developing a cannabis lifestyle brand in the wellness space.
