Description

Join us for a FREE public discussion on Facebook! More and more older adults and seniors are using this popular platform. But how do you use it and what should you know about Facebook?

Facebook is a great way to interact with friends and families or your favorite organizations and businesses! You can share family photos and stories with your friends. You can watch videos on Facebook, you can share articles and blogs or even your favorite recipes! Our presentation will covers topics such as:

  • How to set up your Facebook profile: What is a profile? What information should others know about you?

  • Personal information: Most things on Facebook are public and those on your friends list can see your content, but there are ways to change these settings.

  • Interacting with your friends online: Whether it’s Facebook video chat, Facebook messenger, your or a friend’s Facebook “wall”, or posting a status, or commenting on other people’s status - understanding these are key for Facebook users!

  • Business pages: Keep up to date with your favorite businesses and organizations!

  • And lots more!
