DIG 202-13 Harnessing Mobile Phones in your Classroom
Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM (EST)
New York, NY
When was the last time you used your cell phone to calculate a tip, send a message to a colleague, look up information on the Internet, or take and share a photograph? These are all actions you can use in the classroom to create learner-centered experiences, adding the excitement factor that helps learners spend more time and energy on task. In this session, we will review the basics of mobile learning and using cell phones in the classroom. You'll come away with three ready-to-use lessons using cell phones.
