Dialogues About Cities is an webinar event where we will held conversations with experts from the fields of smart cities, urban transformation and technology adoption in cities.
It is a collection of master classes in smart urban transformation for public officials, urban planners, urban entrepreneurs, Real Estate developers and every curios person interested to broaden its knowledge about the latest innovation trends.

ABOUT THE HOST
Mrs Katerina Zalamova holds a B.A. in Applied Physics, an M.A. in Quantum Mechanics & Laser Techniques, and a PhD in Material Science from Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain. She is a faculty member of the Executive Master Smart Cities & Urban Innovation of Thunderbird School of Global Management, ASU.
Today, she is a recognised Smart Cities expert with a special interest in zero waste infrastructures and the circular economy along with the adoption of digital infrastructures focused on economic development and social change.
Along with her Smart City consultancy, she runs the think-tank for advanced cities, CREA IDEA LAB, with the objective to transfer new technologies and circular economy knowledge to the new and growing smart societies. At CREA IDEA LAB she also fosters, mentors and supports new smart innovators and young entrepreneurs who she believes will be the next developers and applicators of the new smart cities. She was the Academic Director of the Barcelona Blockchain Institute & Technology for a short period before joining as a mentor the EU program Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs.
Mrs Zalamova is an active member and contributor to the EIP Smart Cities & Communities and the EU AI Alliance advising about the social impact of large-scale deployment of AI technologies and smart infrastructures.
