Día de Los Muertos Murder Mystery
Dinner in the Forest
November 1st, 2016

Join us for a Murder Mystery Dinner in the Forest. The four course dinner will focus on seasonal, farm fresh ingredients, all the while solving a murder. You will be given clues to solve the conundrum, while watching the characters of Ronin act out portions of the murder. Guests who solve the murder correctly will be entered into a drawing to win a gift certificate for two to our Full Moon Dinners.

The gate will open at 6:30, and dinner will begin at 7:00. The meal will be served in the forest space located next to the commercial kitchen in a barn.

You can bring along a photo of a loved one that has passed to place on the traditional shrine that will be in honor of those no longer with us, as this day is really in celebration of them.

We are a BYO establishment and invite you to bring along that which suits your tastes.
The menu with pairing reccommendations will be annouced the week of the dinner.

Dinner will be held rain or shine.
If there is rain, dinner will be served in one of the barns on the property.
Please wear closed toed shoes and consider the weather of the current season.

We hope to see you here!

Brian & Amanda Light

Our hope is to share a deeper understanding, appreciation, and connection to our food. Fresh ingredients are of the utmost importance so we strive to utilize produce from our own garden or from local and organic producers.

With this in mind, we serendipitously settled on a 15 acre piece of land. On it, the late Don Ganter’s work – hand built old barns, a workshop, coops, and hutches – was entrusted to us and we have revived and repurposed them to give home to our ducks, guinea fowl, chickens, turkeys, roosters, and roaming heritage breed pigs.

We are content to let nature do what she intends so our practices do not include the use of harmful pesticides or chemicals. We hope to provide the community with the benefits of our land and our hard work.
