The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Minnesota Information Technology Department (MN.IT) warmly invites you to participate in an evening of engagement about how we can make online access to human services programs useful to you.
Currently, MN.IT is building a portal that will allow the community to access and manage their human services programs online. In order to make this portal useful to the people that DHS serves, we want to hear from the community about what their needs and desires are related to accessing and managing their programs online.
We invite you to join us for dinner and an evening of conversation with DHS and MN. IT leaders and staff who want to learn about your needs and wants as they build the online access portal.
Please also encourage your friends, family, and neighbors who participate in DHS programs to join us in this opportunity to provide input and help shape online acces to programs.
Possible points of discussion include:
What are the difficulties that occur when reaching out to DHS for assistance or services
What could be shared, requested or communicated on a participant website to address these issue
What information would you like to see from DHS on a participant website
What information would you like to provide DHS on a participant website?
What do we still need to know?
Please don't hesitate to reach out to Brian Ambuel with any questions you may have.
