DHIS 2 101 - Intro Course
Wed, March 22, 2017, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EDT
The DHIS 2 101 Intro Course is designed to provide an overview of the DHIS 2 platform to those who have little or no exposure to the software. The 1- day orientation training will cover the basics of use and features of DHIS 2. It will be particularly useful for individuals hoping to evaluate the appropriateness of DHIS 2 for their organisation or use case. Participation will be capped at 35 participants to ensure they will receive necessary support from the facilitators. We ask that each organization limit participation to 3-4 participants. If you wish to have more than 4, please consider a private training session for your organization.
The following content will be covered on the introductory course:
- The evolution of the software from a District Health Information Software to an Enterprise Platform used by international NGOs across multiple sectors.
- Fundamental building blocks of DHIS 2: how are projects conceptualised and configured
- Analytics and Reporting features
- Options for integration and data exchange with other systems
The training sessions will be interactive and structured around hands-on examples where participants can navigate and explore the software.
Target Audience: DHIS 2 End Users, Support Teams, Non-Technical Staff, M&E Advisors
Trainers: Lars Overland, Busoye Anifalaje
