Event description


This is Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's third conference targeted to genetic counselors. This conference aims to increase education amongst genetic counselors and health care providers about new topics and discoveries in cancer genetics. Our goal is to make this an annual event that continues to promote the field of genetic counseling and the topics salient to the practice of cancer genetics in all forms.

The conference will be an all day event held in the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center at Harvard Medical School.

Genetic Counselor CEUs: This event has been submitted to the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) for approval of Category 1 CEUs. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) accepts CEUs approved by NSGC for purposes of recertification. Approval for the requested CEUs and Contact Hours is currently pending.

This even has been submitted for CNEs. Approval for the requested CNEs and Contact Hours is currently pending.

Breakfast and snacks will be provided. A industry sponsored lunch will be available or the option of an independent lunch. Happy Hour is provided by an industry partner following the conference at the conference center.

Free parking will be available.

Registration will begin February 1st. Cost of registration is $135 with CEUs, $110 without CEUs, and $110 with nursing continuing education credits (CNEs).

Late registration will begin April 1st with cost increasing to $165 with CEUs, $140 without CEUs, and $140 with nursing continuing education credits (CNEs).
