FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Is there a cancellation policy? Is there a refund policy?

Ticket sales are final and not refundable. Under certain conditions they can be transferred or gifted to another individual if confirmed in writing by the event organizer at least two days prior to the event.

Is there a dress code?

We recommend getting slightly dressed up for this event. For women, this can range from something that is simple and flirtatiously elegant to a bit more revealing and sexy; however, make sure all attire is designed to fit the environment. For inspiration, think a scene from like a F. Scott Fitzgerald’s picnic meets a chic white party.

Is there an age restriction?

Yes. You must be at least 21 years old. Be prepared to present a government issued photo id.

What should I bring to the event? And what should I not bring?

Layers in clothing are always good as it is the Bay Area. Maybe a notebook and pen if you wanted to take notes. Do not bring outside food, drugs or alcoholic beverages.

Will my dietary restrictions be honored?

We will provide both a vegetarian and an omnivore menu option for every public event. In most cases, if our guests notify us, two weeks prior to the event, we will be able to accommodate most dietary restrictions. That being said, we are not equipped to honor Kosher or Halal restrictions.

Will I still enjoy the event if I don’t drink? And if I don’t drink, will I be given another beverage to substitute for the wine being served during the meal? Do I get a discount on my ticket price because I won’t be drinking?

We are sure you will still enjoy the event even without alcohol consumption. If you notify us a week in advance, we will happily procure a different but well paired beverage. Sorry but you will not be able to receive any discount on the price of your ticket due to not consuming any of the alcoholic beverages.

What kind of party is this?

This is neither a swingers or a sex party. This event is intended to be a playful, safe and educational experience.

Can I take one of the servers home with me?

No. They are not on the menu.

Can I bring my own wine?

No. We are not able to have outside alcohol brought into our events. If outside alcohol is found, it will be disposed of immediately and you may be asked to leave.

What happens after I make reservations for a public DEVOURED event?

You will receive an email the week of the event that will contain all the information you need. Please contact us at least one week in advance if you have a specific dietary need, to allow plenty of time for our chef to prepare.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We recommend carpooling with friends when possible. Options available for a paid designated driver; please contact organizer for contact information. There is plenty of parking for attendees at the venue.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

It can make life easier but is not necessary. If you don’t have a printed ticket, make sure you have a government issued photo id.

If you have any additional questions?

Message the organizer, Joy Nordenstrom, directly with any questions.
