Developers, Designers & Digital Enthusiasts - You are invited to attend Dev.Ocean hosted by Rawnet on Thursday 29th August 2013. The event will begin at around 7pm and finish at 10pm.

Dev.Ocean is an insightful and interactive evening with some great guest speakers and the opportunity to socialise and network with like minded people from around the area.

Rawnet is providing us with Pizza, Beer, Drinks & the Venue which is their Digital Studio in Ascot! It starts at 7pm, the first half an hour will be used to interact and network followed by our two guest speakers, with a Q&A after.

We are pleased to announce our two guest speakers for the night...

Ben Sauer

Senior User Experience Designer http://www.redbeard.org.uk/

Ben is a strategic UX designer for Clearleft. He has a background in Web Dev that allows him to excel at creating clever digital strategy through design. Specifically, he makes the interfaces between people and their digital things more humane. Ben will be talking about NVC (Non-violent communication). It's been said that he is a very direct person which often gets him into trouble! Honest and direct is the best approach for agency and client alike but compassion is a major factor - He will talk about the basics of NVC and how it might be useful to others.

Neil Middleton

Support Engineer @Heroku  http://www.neilmiddleton.com/

Neil works for Heroku as a support engineer. His focus is working with customers to educate them on best practices and proven methods of running applications in the cloud. He has also published numerous blogs, technical articles and a book! "Heroku" published by O'Reilly.

We will be in for a journey of understanding the "cloud" and how Heroku is different to the rest.

There is free parking in Car Park 6 a minutes walk away and the nearest train station is Ascot - A three minute walk.

Please feel free to bring guests and colleagues along with you, just let us know (by registering on Eventbrite) so that we can cater for everyone.

We look forward to seeing you then.
