Meet the Panelists
Jordan Ohlwiler is a QA Engineer at LifeVantage. Prior to Devmountain, he worked in the financial industry with his Insurance license from 2011-2016. Then he moved to Utah in 2016 and worked in sales at car dealership for three years. Before coding bootcamp, Jordan had no prior experience in web development besides a basic HTML class taken in high school. After finishing the Web Development program at Devmountain in 2019, he was hired at MX as an entry-level QA and stayed for two years. Recently, he was offered a role in QA with LifeVantage.
James Lea is an iOS Developer at Syzygy Integration. Prior to going Devmountain, James was a hardcore gamer, who had a variety of job experiences, including retail, pizza delivery, and in a hospitality startup. He knew college wasn't for him but without a hard skill or a degree, he felt like his opportunity to make decent money was unattainable. James enrolled in Devmountain on a whim with no coding experience. The first few weeks were brutal and he considered quitting multiple times but pressed forward because he was out of options. Three months after completing the bootcamp in 2022, he was hired as a mobile developer. And more recently, he started a new position as an iOS developer.
