In this session Hossam will explain some must know concepts about know how your T-SQL code behave and execute, and which part of your code needs to be changed for better performance. During this presentation, you will have some tips, hints, and best practices on the go. Don’t forget to bring your questions as well!

Session: Building Extensible REST Services with WCF

The session will start with the popular SOAP vs. REST and when to use which in real-life applications. The demo will then show converting a SOAP WCF service into REST while explaining the cons and pros of each approach. Finally, you will see how to utalize WCF extensibility power by customizing WCF channel layer to satisfy application needs.

Session: Introducing SQL Server Data Tools SSDT
(Speaker: Nabeel Derhem)
This session introduces SSDT (previously called Juneau) and how developers can finally manage their SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and databases through one central tool inside Visual Studio. Managing SQL Azure, offline and online development will also be discussed. If you're a .NET developer, or a SQL server professional, this is a must attend session.
