Device Engineering Alliance - Kick-Off Event

This will be an event for networking and education. Come together with like minded engineers to network and participate in a round table discussion about the topics that keep all engineers up at night.

There will be wine, beer and light appetizers.

We will spend the first 30 min networking and then go into 4 different round table discussions. The topics for the separate tables below:

• EMI Testing - Determining product compliance regulations for your product
• Environmental Testing - Common failures during test
• Engineering - Current Events - Discussions for future events
• Engineering - Common Pitfalls

We will have featured experts at each table to help facilitate the discussions.

Levi Haupt serves as Engineering Manager at Andrews Cooper. Levi has an extensive background in mechanical engineering and has worked with manufactures in the medical device and consumer electronic industries over the last 15 years. Levi’s product development experience spans from high volume consumer electronics to life saving medical devices. Levi has a wealth of product development knowledge relating to design challenges, analysis, and documentation of medical and consumer electronics.

Danielle Kuyltjes is a mechanical engineer at Andrews-Cooper, and is excited to be designing and developing medical devices. She has a diverse background developing manufacturing processes for products such as vaccines, in vitro diagnostics, and freeze-dried blood platelets.

Andrew Reichert is a mechanical engineer working as the lab manager of the Element Bothell environmental test lab. He has worked with Element since the lab first opened in 2013 and was promoted to the lab manager early last year and has had the opportunity to see many environmental tests run for both design and qualification.

Greg Kiemel is a Technical Director at Element Materials Technology. Greg has been instrumental in the development of wireless testing, product certification, and global approvals capabilities at Element. With 33 years of EMC experience, Greg is an iNARTE-certified EMC and ESD engineer, Master EMC Design Engineer, as well as a certified Wireless Device Certification Professional. He is active in ANSI ASC C63 and served as Chair of the TCB Council. Greg is a Senior Member of the IEEE, completing a two-year term as a Distinguished
